The descendant of a mid-European family, Michel was a much-travelled man before he was called to the Bar. An accomplished linguist, he lived in France, attending the University of Aix-en-Provence before reading law in the UK. In his early years at the Bar, Michel practised from the Temple and also worked as an agent-prosecutor for the CPS.

...Bar, he also taught part-time at what was then the Polytechnic of North London. Now, he works full-time as a lecturer at the Inns of Court School of Law in Holburn, London. This role requires him to remain abreast of all current law and to specialise in application of both Civil and Criminal procedure.
Despite a time-consuming career, he is always ready and willing to help as a consultant in any of his specialisms.

He has two adult sons - one of whom is now a Gendarme in Southern France! He is married to Ann with whom he lives in North London.
